
I have no idea what this is. If someone can tell, me, please let me know. I think it was a fountain or a well of some kind. In any case, I found it fascinating and beautiful.

I'll bet that's a well. There are also markers for where royal placenta were buried around the palaces. Similar configuration, but a bit more ornate.

Thanks for the posts. I think you're probably right that it's a well. Although, the Chamber of Secrets does sound plausible as well... ;-)
