Koreans have an obsession with going to the bathroom, fart noises, and other such things. Their bathroom art reflects this. Pictured here is the bathroom specifically for (and ONLY for) really large bummed sexless robots who pee out of their bellybuttons. Posted by Hello

On Wednesday, I went hiking on a path near Bundang, and on Thursday, I went to Namhansansong Park with Jeanette and did more hiking. These are pictures of Wednesday, followed by Thursday later.  Posted by Hello

I was pleasantly surprised to find exercise equipment out in the middle of the path - a public service, I suppose! Posted by Hello

This reminds me of a poem. I can't remember which one... Posted by Hello

Oooh. The terrain becomes rocky! Posted by Hello

Isn't it cool how the two leaves on either side are shaped differently because of the third leaf in the middle? Posted by Hello

A colourful mushroom. Posted by Hello

When I got to the top of the mountain near Bundang, there was a single lily plant at the peak. It was pretty. Posted by Hello

More Buddhist prayer stones, seen on my Wednesday hike. Posted by Hello

A view of only a small part of Seoul. The symmetry and identicalness of all the buildings is striking. Posted by Hello

Check out the shag carpet on this caterpillar! Dude, the 70's are OVER! Posted by Hello

A nifty mushroom on my solitary hike on Wednesday. Posted by Hello

Don't ask... this hangs in Wa-Bar.  Posted by Hello

Dried chili peppers, by the BAGFULL! Despite the huge number, all the chilis are still dried traditionally in the sun - often in the parks and beside small rivers. Posted by Hello

Here is a picture of Namhansansong Park - we started at the base (#1, left hand side) and walked up to the Great Wall, shown in blue. Then we continued around the wall for 2-3km and took a bus back down after seeing several temples. Posted by Hello

The people in the park filled the rocky river, as it was a scorchingly hot day. A great day to go hiking up a huge mountain... crazy foreigners. Posted by Hello

Buddhist prayer stones (so I'm told). Posted by Hello

Another temple at Namhansansong park. Posted by Hello

This tree was completely covered in fungi. Posted by Hello

You can see part of the wall breaking the foliage in the distance.  Posted by Hello

We went and saw what is called "The Great Wall of Korea". It's a 9km wall encircling the top of Namhansansong fortress in Namhansansong park, atop the mountain with the same name. Posted by Hello

A passageway beneath the wall. Posted by Hello

A Haiku: Golden Dragonfly, Perched on the steely barbed wire, Take my picture please. Posted by Hello

A dragonfly that stayed on the barbedwire long enough for us to take its picture. Cool, huh? Posted by Hello
